House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has hit on a truly brilliant1 political strategy — focus on jobs instead of all these “scandal” distractions. How insightful! One of those marks of genius when afterwards you just say “why didn’t anyone think of this before”?

1 For someone of Pelosi’s intellectual capacity.

Watch it aog, waxing sarcastic toward a member of the distaff population is equivalent to actionable sexual harassment in many quarters.

I think I can skate, I’m not on a college campus so I still have a little freedom of speech.

“Any expression related to sexual topics that offends any person.”

So, those in-your-face gays on campus will be banned if they offend anyone at all? I’ll believe it when I see it.

Bret;

Go back and read the Neo-Feudalism post - this is not fundamentally different than the IRS enforcement issue. Of course it will be selectively enforced by the apparatchiks to punish their enemies, not protect victims. That, in my view, is the point, not an unanticipated consequence. The people who promote these polices do so in the belief that they will be the ones controlling the selectivity of the enforcement. I agree that the best way to strike back is overwhelm the system with complaints. Those won’t be enforced but then you have a clear demonstration of the real purpose of those regulations.
