Forbes Magazine has compiled another list of the most miserable to live in cities in the USA. Unsurprisingly to annoy paying attention, they are basically all run by the Democratic Party. The voters have created ungovernable messes and are now fleeing, presumably to recreate the same failure in their new homes (because, since these problems weren’t caused by the Wrong People, they don’t count, so why not do it all again?).

I did like this bit

Forbes put Detroit Mayor Dave Bing on its cover in 2011 for a story with the optimistic headline: “City of Hope.”

The curse of the magazine cover still works…

There’s one city missing: Washington, D.C.

Which is an incredible boom town. The capitol gleams. So at least there, the democrats are able to siphon enough money from the rest of the country to create a utopia. I’m thinking of moving there. Where else can you get a job that pays great with fabulous benefits (including retirement) where you don’t have to work at all if you don’t want to and they can’t fire you? If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em, I always say. At least I’m telling my kids to consider that strongly.

The Hunger Games is coming to life and I want my kids in the Capitol, not in district 12.

Stunning isn’t it? Yet when I engage with MALists they say we need President Obama to stop the Republicans from taking their stuff. I ask for examples, but the lack of any is apparently irrelevant to that “fact”.
