Given the growing distance between the Secretary of State and the President, I was struck when I was reminded that the current limits on Presidential terms are 2 terms and 10 years. So, if HRC is planning on a coup then perhaps she’s deliberately waiting until 2010 so she can have those two years and two more terms past that. If she struck earlier, she’d only get one elected term.

It also occurred to me, thinking about this, that HRC is a smart parasite and Obama is not. Smart parasites don’t kill their hosts. HRC is unlikely to be any less corrupt or power hungry than Obama, but I suspect she, unlike Obama, understands that there are limits if you want to skim in the long term.

How would this coup work? HRC would just direct the military to oust Obama?

This is not Honduras.

Well, I would say that if HRC could get the Supreme Court and the entire Congress to unamiously endore removing Obama from office, that the military should carry out that order.

I don’t think HRC thinks of such as other than a day dream, but in theory she would have something her operatives dug up (like Obama belongs to an Ayn Rand fan club) which would knock him out of office, or would just talk to him harshly at a press conference until he cried and pulled a Cartman. She would have to eliminate Vice President Biden, House Speaker Pelosi, and President pro tempore Byrd but really — if you can get rid of Obama, these rest of that crew should be easy pickings.

She can’t wait. Once Obama gets his brownshirts up and running, they’ll be no ousting him without a war between them and the army. We can’t rule out his friends south of border coming to his aid and even though the army will win, it’d be bad with lots of civilian casualties.

Better just get rid him the old-fashioned way, vote him out.

We can’t rule out his friends south of border…

I’d worry a bit about his friends north of the border too, erp. At least with respect to AOG’s scenario. We don’t mind if you toss a president, but we expect you to be nice about it.

Peter, you really think your neighbors will rouse themselves to military action to save Obama from Hillary?

Friends north of the border? After Obama’s trade war threat? And especially with Canada turning in to a tax haven for we southernors.

If HRC was smart and devious, she’d be President not the UR.
