Via Brothers Judd we have a story about Israel considering a truce offering from Hamas. Given that all the previous truces have effectively been

Israel stops attacking.
The Palestinian leadership announces a truce, while actual attacks continue, although sometimes at a reduced rate.

But, hey, it’s truce, written on paper. That’s gotta be worth something, right?

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that OJ’s posts are becoming more hysterical, strident and divorced from reality? The thought of Obama becoming prez in particular seems to have him completely unhinged.

Hmmm, not in my view. He’s actually tolerating a bit more dissent, as he hasn’t memholed any of my recent comments.

What I am left wondering on this point is, should Hamas declare a truce and not officially launch attacks, while putatively non-affiliated groups do, will Judd be willing to apply the same logic to the situation as he does with the ungovernable areas of Pakistan? I.e., since Pakistan can’t control them, it’s open season.
