Another effect of globalization

The boom times in India keep coming up as a weblog topic. It seems to me that we are in the beginnings of another economic rush in the British Empire, similar to the times in the 18^th and 19^th Centuries when massive fortunes were built from projects around the globe. The difference this time is that the natives will be reprising the roles originally played by the British.

“commonwealth” is the term you are looking for , in place of “empire” :)

and there will be plenty of profits for the non-natives too.

i meant, the british refer to their ex-empire as the british commonwealth.
